The YJGV / YJGVH Series Needle & Gauge Valves are high-pressure isolation and control valves designed for reliable instrument protection and flow regulation in industrial systems. Manufactured from carbon steel or 304/316 stainless steel, each valve features a forged body, precision stem, adjustable packing, and reinforced sealing structure. All valves are pressure tested in accordance with API 598 standards to ensure safety and sealing performance.
The valves incorporate a back-seating design in the fully open position to protect stem threads from media contamination and wear. Cold-worked stem threads provide smooth operation and mechanical strength, while PTFE or graphite packing supports a wide operating temperature range. With external packing adjustment and multiple handle options, the YJGV and YJGVH series deliver stable, durable, and dependable service in high-pressure applications.

Functions and Features
- Back-seat sealing function when the valve is fully open
- Rolled and hardened valve stem for improved mechanical strength
- Adjustable packing design allowing online sealing adjustment
- Upper stem thread isolated from process media
- Non-rotating lower stem to reduce packing wear
- Multiple handle types available for different operating conditions
- Locking screw design for secure valve positioning
- 100% factory pressure and sealing test before delivery
Product Advantages
Compared with conventional instrumentation valves, the YJGV / YJGVH needle valves provide:
- Higher pressure resistance up to 690 bar
- Wider temperature capability with graphite high-temperature packing
- Improved sealing reliability through back-seat structure and hardened stem
- Reduced leakage risk due to non-rotating stem design
- Long-term operational stability in steam, gas, and high-pressure fluid systems
These characteristics make the valve suitable for precision pressure control and measurement applications in critical industrial systems.

Needle Valves

Quality & Testing Standards
All needle and gauge valves are individually pressure-tested and leakage-tested prior to shipment.
Testing procedures comply with API 598 requirements to verify sealing integrity, structural safety, and operational reliability under rated pressure conditions.
Typical Applications
- Instrumentation and pressure measurement systems
