The OMD Series Gas Booster Pumps are air-driven pneumatic boosters. Compressed air is used as the driving source (PL, 1–8 bar), and the gas inlet pressure (PA) is boosted to a higher outlet pressure (PB) according to the model’s design.
In the latest OMD selection table, the gas outlet pressure is defined model-by-model as:
PB = k × PL + PA
where k is the multiplier specified in the table for each model (for example: 1×, 1.6×, 2.5×, 4×, 10×, 16×, 25×, 40×, 60×, 80×, 100×, 160×, 200×).
Because k is not always identical to the numeric “pressure ratio” label in every case, the correct PB calculation and selection must follow the Gas outlet pressure row and Pump stop pressure PB row in the table for the specific model you choose.
The OMD series includes OMD standard models and higher-pressure variants such as OMD80-2 (160:1) and OMD100-2 (200:1).

Features and Functions
- Air-driven boosting (PL 1–8 bar): operates with compressed air as the driving source, suitable for pneumatic systems and non-electric working environments.
- Predictable outlet pressure formula: the OMD series uses a clear pressure relationship PB = ratio×PL + PA, convenient for system design and pressure calculation.
- Wide model coverage: pressure ratios from 1.6:1 to 200:1, supporting different boosting targets and inlet pressure conditions.
- High outlet pressure capability: max PB ranges up to 1600 bar (OMD100-2) per the model selection table.
- Multiple inlet pressure ranges: PA ranges differ by model, including special conditions such as micro negative pressure and atmospheric pressure entries (as listed for OMD01B/OMD02B).
- Standardized installation interfaces: consistent driven air port size ZG1/2″, and standardized inlet/outlet port sizes to simplify integration.
- Material and seal options aligned to service: Aluminum Alloy / Stainless Steel body material and PTFE / FKM / NBR sealing set as standard.
- Defined operating limits: max working frequency 60 times/min, max working temperature 60°C (all models).

Avantages du produit
- Strong engineering selectability: the OMD series table provides direct selection guidance by ratio, PA inlet limits, and PB maximum pressure, reducing selection errors.
- Broader ratio range than common single-series boosters: supports both standard models and high-ratio -2 models for higher pressure needs.
- Stable pneumatic drive range: PL 1–8 bar across all models supports common factory air supply conditions.
- Integration-friendly dimensions: consistent sizes for many mid-range models (OMD10–OMD100 mostly 590–593 mm length with uniform height), supporting skid mounting and compact layouts.
- Service model coding available: inert gas standard (NL) across all models, with dedicated oxygen (OL) and CO₂ (CL) codes where listed.

Working Principle of OMD Gas Booster Pumps
OMD gas booster pumps operate with a reciprocating air-driven mechanism:
- Driving side (PL): compressed air (1–8 bar) drives the piston movement.
- Gas side (PA → PB): inlet gas pressure PA is boosted to outlet pressure PB based on the selected model’s multiplier k.
For system design and pressure calculation, the outlet pressure relationship is strictly as listed in the selection table:
PB = k × PL + PA (k varies by model and must follow the table)
The pump will automatically stop boosting when the outlet pressure reaches the model’s Pump stop pressure PB value shown in the table, which follows the same k × PL + PA format.
This table-defined pressure logic ensures users can select the correct model by matching:
- available inlet pressure PA range,
- available driving pressure PL, and
- required maximum outlet pressure PB.
