Product Description

In cylinder inspection procedures, hydrostatic pressure testing and residual deformation measurement are the two most critical safety assessments.

According to GB13004-1999 – Periodic Inspection and Evaluation of Steel Seamless Gas Tanks, after hydrostatic pressure testing, the residual deformation of the cylinder must be measured.
If the residual deformation exceeds the specified limit, the cylinder is deemed unqualified, even if it passes the pressure test.

This calibration machine adopts the external testing method, which is the preferred method recommended by national standards and widely accepted internationally.
Compared with internal testing, the external method eliminates the influence of water compression and pipeline deformation, resulting in higher accuracy and easier operation, particularly suitable for carbon fiber wound composite cylinders.
