The MHX-3-C Respirator Comprehensive Tester is a computer-controlled automatic testing system designed to evaluate the comprehensive performance of air breathing apparatus and other respiratory protection devices.
It is suitable for performance testing and evaluation in fire brigade inspection and maintenance stations, respiratory protection product testing institutions, and respirator manufacturing enterprises.

Product Description

The MHX-3-C Respirator Comprehensive Tester simulates real breathing conditions through an artificial lung system and conducts comprehensive performance testing of air breathing apparatus and related respiratory protective equipment under computer control.

The system measures key parameters such as pressure, breathing volume, and respiratory rate under different working quotas, generating standardized test results to support product quality evaluation and maintenance verification.

With a modular structural design, the equipment consists of a test head mold, artificial lung, computer system, optional printer, and high-pressure main pipe. The system is intuitive to operate, stable in performance, and suitable for long-term use in inspection stations and manufacturing facilities.

Structure & Working Principle:

The MHX-3-C Respirator Comprehensive Tester consists of the following main components

Test Head Mold

  • Used for wearing the respirator mask during testing
  • Installed on top of the artificial lung
  • Designed exclusively for full-face respirators
  • Not suitable for half-mask respirators, as half masks cannot cover the sampling port on the left eye of the test head mold, preventing accurate pressure measurement inside the mask
  • Two configurations available:Domestic test head mold,Imported test head mold from Canada (optional)

Artificial Lung

  • Enclosed in a protective housing
  • Equipped with power indicator and power switch on the front panel
  • Rear interfaces include:AC 220V power interface,USB data input/output interface,High-voltage interface located on the left side of the rear panel

Computer System

  • Contains a dedicated directory for MHX-3-C operation software
  • Users are not permitted to modify or delete system files
  • Can be used as a standard computer when not performing tests
  • Software features a full Chinese-language interface
  • Measurement units follow the International System of Units (SI)
  • Supports complete communication with the tester and printing of Chinese test reports

 Printer (Optional)

  • Used to print test result reports
  • Connected directly to the computer system
  • Enables physical output of test data

High-Pressure Main Pipe

  • Used in rapid test mode
  • One end connects to the high-pressure interface on the rear of the tester
  • The other end connects to the inlet of the pressure reducer of the respirator under test
  • Air source may be the respirator cylinder or other suitable air supplies

 

Respirator Comprehensive Tester

 

The work quota represents the volume of air inhaled or exhaled by the artificial lung during each breathing cycle.
According to GB16556 and GA124-2013 standards, the MHX-3-C offers three selectable work quotas:
