The MHV-VD100 vertical top-press valve test bench is engineered for efficient and accurate testing of small-bore flanged valves from DN15 to DN100. The vertical orientation and top-press cylinder design allow for quick valve loading and unloading, making it ideal for high-throughput production environments.
A key feature of this model is its flip-and-submerge function: the entire test fixture can be rotated 90 degrees and submerged in water, enabling straightforward and reliable low-pressure gas tightness testing through bubble detection. The bench performs shell strength tests at 1.5 times nominal pressure, high-pressure seal tests at 1.1 times nominal pressure, and low-pressure gas tightness tests at 4-7 bar, covering all standard test requirements for small-bore valves.
The MHV-HD300 horizontal top-press valve test bench is our most widely used model, designed to handle flanged gate valves, ball valves, globe valves, and check valves from DN15 to DN300. The horizontal layout is ergonomic and allows for easy valve positioning and clamping. The movable end plate can be adjusted along the length of the bench to accommodate valves with different face-to-face dimensions, eliminating the need for multiple sets of fixtures.
Driven by our reliable air-driven high-pressure water pump, the system provides a smooth and precisely controllable pressure ramp up to 37.5 MPa. This model is the standard choice for valve manufacturing plants, oil and gas maintenance workshops, and third-party inspection bodies requiring a dependable, all-purpose valve testing solution.
The MHV-HB300 horizontal claw-clamp valve test bench represents the highest level of precision in our gate and ball valve testing range. Unlike top-press designs that apply axial force to the valve ends, the MHV-HB300’s hydraulic claw clamps grip directly onto the back face of the valve flanges. This means that no external compressive force is applied to the valve body during testing — a critical advantage for obtaining sealing test results that accurately reflect the valve’s true in-service performance.
The radial and axial position of each claw is independently controlled by hydraulic cylinders, allowing the bench to automatically adapt to a wide range of flange diameters (DN80 to DN300) and thicknesses without manual adjustment. A safety interlock prevents the clamps from releasing while the valve cavity is under pressure, ensuring operator safety at all times.
The MDV-600 hydraulic butterfly valve test bench is purpose-built for the unique testing requirements of butterfly valves, which have a short face-to-face length that makes them incompatible with standard valve test benches. This bench accommodates both flanged and wafer-type butterfly valves from DN50 to DN600 using a hydraulic claw-clamping mechanism that grips the valve body directly without requiring flanges.
The dual-station design features a smaller left station (DN50-250) and a larger right station (DN250-600), allowing operators to test two different valve size ranges on the same bench without reconfiguration. The right station can be rotated 90 degrees for convenient gas tightness testing. All tests comply with GB/T13927 and API 598 standards.
For large-scale infrastructure projects in water treatment, power generation, and major pipeline systems, Highlight offers custom-engineered test benches for large-diameter butterfly valves up to DN2000. These heavy-duty systems are built to provide the substantial clamping force required to seal and pressure-test very large valve bodies, with maximum clamping forces exceeding 150 tonnes on the largest models.
Despite their size, the claw-clamping mechanism ensures that no damaging external force is applied to the valve body, preserving the integrity of the valve under test. Each large-diameter test bench is custom-designed to the customer’s specific valve dimensions, pressure ratings, and test standards, and is delivered with full on-site installation and commissioning support from our engineering team.
